Following months of intensive development work, we're pleased to announce that pre-orders are now open for our brand-new, Rotrex supercharger package for the Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa (2021-on)
This innovative setup has been tried and tested on our development bike and takes performance of the big Suzuki to the next level, with a maximum output of 360+whp.
The package utilises Rotrex's new C30-94 counterclockwise supercharger, which has allowed us to simplify the kit, reducing both cost and installation time. The C30-94 is a highly efficient, centrifugal unit, which delivers strong, linear performance; there is no lag or delay, as with a turbocharger, just a wave of usable power. This translates to incredible acceleration.
No internal engine modifications are necessary, however the secondary injectors will require a simple modification (explained in the instructions) and an uprated fuel pump (included) must be fitted. The ECU will also require remapping, which is why we are currently working with calibration specialists to allow us to offer a base map with the package. We expect a solution to be available very soon.
Extensive development work has ensured that the package is not only capable of extreme power, but will also deliver utmost drivability and durability. It's the reason we upgraded the drive belt to a super-tough Powerdyne unit.
We anticipate many of these packages will be fitted to bikes used for drag racing, but with everyday drivability, it will also make for a very exciting road bike. For street bikes, we recommend raising the gearing and lengthening the rear swing arm to further aid drivability.
As part of this everyday drivability, we have worked hard to make the supercharger installation as neat as possible. The C30-94 is mounted on the left-hand side of the bike and affords plenty of clearance; it is protected by a beautifully CNC-machined chain guard, embossed with the TTS logo.
Our aim was to make everything look as factory as possible, which includes the inboard air filter and the custom intercooler, which is force-fed by the vents in the fairing and hidden under the petrol tank cover. The only other giveaway that this is not an ordinary GSX1300R is the supercharger oil reservoir, with oil level indicator, which exits a vent in the fairing.
Like all of our supercharger packages, each Gen 3 Hayabusa kit will be made to order at our Silverstone UK facility, with a lead time of around eight weeks.
